
The highly anticipated 2025 “Shineray Cup” Chongqing, China Off-Road Motorcycle Grand Prix kicked off at Slow Tamping Park on September 20, 2025. This event, gathering top cross-country riders from home and abroad, has injected strong impetus into the development of China's motorcycle off-road sports through its high-standard organization, thrilling races and in-depth exploration of rider culture.

At the opening ceremony, leaders and guests including Shen Jinqiang (Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Chongqing Municipal People's Congress and Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association), Shi Chonggang (Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of Chongqing Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of Chongqing Federation of Industry and Commerce), He Xiaobo (Second-Class Inspector of Chongqing Municipal Sports Bureau), Luo Ting (Full-time Vice Chairman of Chongqing Municipal Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy and Standing Committee Member of Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference), Tan Xiaolu (Chairman of Chongqing Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Association), Li Xuanlai (Chairman of Chengdu Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Federation), and Gong Daxing (Chairman of Shineray holding group company) attended the event and jointly inaugurated the race.

From the preliminary registration, many riders worldwide were drawn by the 2025” Shineray Cup”. An exceptionally popular sign-up fully showed the strong appeal of the event IP which finally gathered 102 riders competed, including celebrities like Huayang Racing Team (2025 CMX China Motorcycle Cross-Country Championship winner), Fang Xiangliang (2025 Dakar Rally International Youth Group third-place finisher), young national champion Xu Jianhao, and Chongqing local national champion Pu Yang. Coming from all over, they chased their passion for cross-country and desire for glory, delivering an exciting feast of speed and passion.。
The event featured five categories: 250cc Imported Group, 250cc Domestic Group, Binsen( Shineray’s electric motorcycles ) EX2 New Energy Unified Group, Binsen EX2 Women's Group, and Junior Group. It innovatively allowed fuel-powered and new energy models to compete side by side. On September 19, preliminary rounds for all groups kicked off first, with the final showdown on the 20th taking the competition to a climax.

After two days of intense competition, PATSAKORN (Thai), from Chongqing Pulaike International Racing Team, claimed both the 250cc Imported Group and 250cc Domestic Group titles. Yuan Ruiqi of Shineray Binsen Racing Team won the Binsen EX2 Women's Unified Group. Tanawat Mipi (Thai), from ROFEIBI Lubricants International Racing Team, took the Junior Group crown. Li Yong, also from ROFEIBI Lubricants International Racing Team, secured the Binsen EX2 New Energy Unified Group championship.

The return of the 2025 ”Shineray Cup” Prix marks the "reconstruction and upgrading" of this IP in Southwest China. Leveraging Shineray Motorcycle's profound heritage in motorcycle manufacturing and event operation, the race upholds the philosophy of "Racing is Glory", earning an excellent reputation in the industry and attracting great attention from professional riders and enthusiasts.
Hosted at Slow Tamping Park, Shineray Motorcycle invested heavily to upgrade and build a brand-new 1.2-kilometer track. It integrates 17 groups of well-designed natural obstacles and man-made technical sections, including tricky bends and highly challenging undulating roads. The track aims to offer riders a world-class competitive environment, while enabling motorcycle stunt shows, off-road skill demonstrations and other activities—making it a comprehensive motorcycle sports base combining competitions, training and spectator entertainment.

2025 "Shineray Cup" Prix was born from the vigorous development of Chongqing, China's Motorcycle Capital. As a renowned event IP in China's motorcycle cross-country sector, it has gained widespread acclaim for its professionalism, competitiveness and spectator appeal since its inception.
Since the successful launch of the 1st “Shineray Cup” at Shineray International Off-Road Racing Track in 2007, the event has kept evolving. The 3rd “Shineray Cup” (2009) was first included in the national competition catalog, upgraded to a National Class A event. The 4th “Shineray Cup” (2010) held qualifying rounds in Liaozhong (Liaoning), Qingdao (Shandong) and other places, adding a 100-minute endurance race and an ATV category—a pioneering move in domestic motorcycle competitions. The 5th edition followed in 2013. Adhering to the public-oriented philosophy of "Play Freely, Ride Harder", the “Shineray Cup” has echoed the China National Motorcycle Cross-Country Championship, jointly laying a solid foundation for the development of China's motorcycle cross-country sports.

Notably, this year’s “Shineray Cup” was deeply integrated with "Shineray Vibe – The 2nd Slow Tamping Park Carnival", bringing an unprecedented feast to riders and citizens alike. From September 19 to 20, Slow Tamping Park transformed into a "vibe powerhouse", hosting a variety of activities: Slow Tamping Park check-ins, food tasting sprees, up-close motorcycle shows, and fun challenge experiences. The carnival night featured popular artists and music celebrities taking turns to rock the stage, with exciting perks like lyric solitaire and big-screen lucky draws pushing the atmosphere to a fever pitch. Over 31 million participants joined the carnival online and offline, making it a highlight event during the 2025 Chongqing Motorcycle Expo!
